Giving Back

We consider it a distinct privilege to have the opportunity to care for these wonderful equine athletes. The issue of racehorse retirement and aftercare is extremely important to us. Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses are capable of so many achievements after racing - they are incredibly resilient animals, very social, and very willing, teachable pupils - all they need is an opportunity.

All of us at Hogan Equine feel fortunate that we can offer something of value to give back to the horses and to the racing community. If veterinary care can make a difference for even one horse to have the opportunity to be adopted and transition into another useful career, we are happy to help provide it pro bono.
